WHY WE STARTED DREAMFIT.
One day in the fall of 2016, Melanie was attempting to return a few pairs of pants for her mom that she had bought online. The fit was terrible. The quality? Disappointing at best. But worst of all – the customer service was atrocious. Weeks to get a refund. There was a phone number, but nobody was answering. When she finally got through to someone, they were rude to her. As if it were her fault that the clothes they produced didn’t fit her. Melanie knew she could do a better job for women out there. And so, DreamFit was born.
From the beginning, we’ve offered a carefully catered staple of women’s brands, with exceptional fit and quality, from close-knit partners. But the secret sauce is our unparalleled customer service: Real women, answering naturally like humans (i.e. no script or robotics), patiently helping customers with anything, from placing an order to resolving why that mailman didn't deliver the package even though you were home waiting for it.

Growing up in vibrant Montréal, Melanie was heavily influenced by her parents, each of them entrepreneurs in their own right. She learned early on the value of hard work and what it takes to make it as a strong woman in business.
In her mid-20’s, fresh out of school and filled with a strong sense of independence, rather than work in the comfort of the family business, she decided to blaze her own path.
Armed with little else than her passion for fashion, she boldly launched DreamFit in 2016.
